Patient Service Centers and phlebotomy sites cannot collect specimens for COVID-19 testing; specifically, test code 39429 "COVID-19 by PCR", which requires collection by nasopharyngeal swab, oropharyngeal swab or sputum. These types of specimens must be collected by a physician's office or healthcare facility. Please contact your healthcare provider for specimen collection. We will work directly with physicians, clinicians and healthcare facilities to rapidly test COVID-19 specimens collected and referred to our laboratory.
As of May 12, 2020, two (2) serologic tests are offered for IgG antibodies. These specimens can be collected by our phlebotomy team when ordered by a licensed practitioner.
