Urinary tract

For urine cytology, add equal parts (or up to 30 ml) freshly voided urine specimen to the Cytolyt® Fixative in the provided non-gyn specimen cup.

Label the specimen container with the patient’s full name (first and last), date of birth and source of specimen.

As an alternative, a freshly voided urine specimen may be submitted to the laboratory as soon as possible after collection. Keep refrigerated.
